Wilstar is a non-profit venture which is focused on social impact and supporting people who initiate sustainable lasting change to create a better world

Education

Wilstar believes that quality education is for everyone and is a crucial element in creating a sustainable, lasting world. To that end, we finance initiatives that assist vulnerable young people in completing their education.

Female Empowerment

Wilstar acknowledges that achieving equality in opportunity between women and men is deeply connected to whether we will be able to create positive changes in society and the climate. Therefore, we believe it is key to continue supporting initiatives that empower women.

Marine Environment

Wilstar closely collaborates with climate-focused marine conservation initiatives to harness our large-scale impact and history with the sea. By protecting the oceans and creating solutions to counteract the diverse threats of harmful maritime industries, we will accelerate the progress in creating a net-zero emissions economy by 2050.

Ecosystem Building

At Wilstar, we believe that to truly contribute to sustainable, lasting changes to create a better world, it is not enough to support singular initiatives, whether they are social entrepreneurs or more advocacy focused. Therefore, we also support initiatives that educate individuals, accelerate initiatives, and bring more capital to drive social impact.

Wilstar typically enters into long-term partnerships with the organisations and social entrepreneurs we support. We are proud of all our current and former partnerships and continue to support them and the impact they create.

Wilstar is the nonprofit social impact arm of the Arne and Lise Wilhelmsen family office and a space in which the Wilhelmsen family feel they can most effectively contribute to our society.
